Dr. Page has been a faculty member of the Department of Africana Studies since 2007. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in American Studies/African American Feminism and an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her research and teaching interests include narrative writing and literature and the intersection of gender and race. When teaching, Dr. Page teaches the Introduction to Africana Studies; Experiencing the Africana World; Narrative, Identity, and Genetics; and a writing intensive course, The Black "I". For the 2021-2022 academic year, Dr. Page will spend the year writing and will not teach. She is dedicating herself to writing full time, but maintains and checks her email. She is still invested in Africana Studies and the Notre Dame community.
